The complex of buildings of Bauhaus Universität (Henry van de Velde) in Weimar was built between 1904 and 1911 according to the plans of the architect Henry van de Velde. It is one of the most influential art academies of the early 20th century, where the Bauhaus movement was founded in 1919. Today, the building is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
